FAQ's
 ~Additional Information you need to know that will answer any questions that you might have~
Party’s Location: We bring the entertainment to you! We lead the party in the convenience of your home or in your reserved venue, such as a community center, party room, or park. We ask that you provide sufficient space for us to set-up and entertain and to have an adult present at all times in case of illness, behavior issues or emergencies. If sufficient space and supervision is not provided, it can affect the quality of your party experience and the safety of everyone involved. Keep in mind the weather if it is planned for outside. We'll take care of the rest!
Other Services Offered: We are happy to plan a custom party around any theme or event. In addition to the parties mentioned above, we can do tea parties, glamour parties, and dress-up parties. If you are interested in one of these parties, please contact us for pricing before booking. We are planning on adding bounce houses and teen parties in the future, so check back to see what else we have added!
Tardiness: We make every effort to arrive at your event by the scheduled time. Occasionally, factors beyond our control affect our ability to do so. If the service ordered arrives 30 minutes or more behind schedule, the client has the right to cancel the service and receive a full refund. If you schedule a performer for a specific time, and you are not ready for the performance to begin, the character may not be able to perform for the full hour.
Deposits and Payments: A deposit is required to reserve your party date. We accept a personal check, money order, cash or major credit card/debit card (Visa, Master Card or American Express using Paypal). We prefer payment by through Paypal. At least a two week notice is recommended to get your preferred date and time! The balance is due at the time of the party. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required at booking. You may change your date or time up to 48 hours before the party, if your new date/time is available. If payment is made day of party we will only accept cash.
Tipping: Gratuity is at your discretion and will not be included on your invoice, but it will be much appreciated by the character that entertains you.
NSF: There is a $35 fee for any check that is returned to us with NON SUFFICIENT FUNDS. Other forms of payment are strongly encouraged!
Extended Traveling Costs: Due to the increase in gas prices we have had to add a mileage fee for parties located outside our service area. We service all of Boise and the surrounding areas. We would love to come to your party, but any travel outside of the 15 mile radius from our shop will by an extra .50 cents per mile. Example: 20 miles away (15 miles free + 5 miles at $.50 = $2.50). Mileage is determined using Map quest. Once we have your party’s location, we will let you know if this applies to you.
Attendance: The maximum children to character ratio is 15:1 for “regular” characters and 15:2 for mascot characters. This total is including the birthday child. There is no limit to the amount of children at the party! If you wish to have more then 15 children there will need to be an additional “helper” to conduct the party. This is for the safety of all involved and to help the party run smoothly. You will be charged an additional fee of $20 per hour to cover the cost of the “helper.”
Legalities: We are professionals and guarantee that all characters will conduct themselves as so. This being said, all of our characters are independent contractors. 2BAKid is not personally liable in any way for their actions. We strive to send you only the best and promise that we do everything in our power to make sure your party is everything dreams are made of!
Jobs: We are always looking for new responsible performers who love kids and love to have fun. In order to be considered, you have to have your own vehicle, insurance, a resume with references, and be willing to be finger printed.
